Park Party \u2013 A great Success \u2013 June, 2010<\/p>\n

Over 200 people attended Acorn\u2019s Park Party which was also a fundraiser for Ella, the Turtle held in Centennial Park on Glendale.\u00a0 Parents and children had fun in the water at the splash pad, building sand castles, climbing on the climber, visiting the turtles brought by Turtleshell Tortue, purchasing the donated art and enjoying the food. Miss Corianne led the Children\u2019s Choir in many of the songs that they were practicing.\u00a0\u00a0 It was a great day to share the fellowship between the Families and Educators at Acorn.\u00a0 We raised $615.00 to go toward the care and rehabilitation of Ella, our turtle and we had a lot of fun.\u00a0 We look forward to the next one.\u00a0\u00a0 Thank goodness the rain held off until we cleaned up.<\/p>\n
